Deauville: the pearl of the Côte Fleurie


Located on the Normandy coast, Deauville is a charming seaside town known for its pristine beaches, famous boardwalk, luxury hotels and casino. It's an ideal destination for weekend getaways, sea lovers and nightlife enthusiasts alike.

Transport
Deauville can be reached from Paris by car in around two hours, or by train in just over two hours from the Gare Saint-Lazare. Trains run regularly throughout the day, making travel easy and convenient.

Deauville beach is the town's main attraction. With its fine golden sand, it's the ideal place to relax and soak up the sun. The famous Deauville boards, a boardwalk on the seafront, icons of cinema and symbols of the famous Deauville American Film Festival, offer a breathtaking view of the beach and sea. The many colorful beach huts add a picturesque touch to the landscape. The town also boasts remarkable architecture, including Norman-style buildings, Belle Époque villas and luxury hotels. Town history
To discover the town's history, you can visit the Villa Montebello museum, which houses a collection of Deauville-related art and memorabilia. And the Eglise Saint-Augustin, a Roman Catholic church dating from the 19th century, has impressive architecture and magnificent stained-glass windows.

In terms of accommodation, Deauville offers a host of luxury hotels, including the legendary Normandy, which has welcomed celebrities such as Winston Churchill, the Prince of Wales and Coco Chanel!
